All questionsWhat are the minimum age and licence requirements?
The minimum age is 21. You must hold a full, valid driver licence and cannot be on probation or provisional conditions. You will be asked to present the physical licence at pick up.
Can I use a foreign driver licence?
Yes. If your licence is not in English you will need to bring an official translation or an International Driving Permit alongside it.
What do I need to bring to pick up the car?
A valid driver licence and a valid Mastercard or Visa credit card. We do not accept AMEX. The driver must be present and both the licence and the card must be in the driver’s name.
How does a rental day work?
Rentals run on a 24-hour basis. Hire a car from 9am for one day and it is due back at 9am the next day. There is a one-hour grace period before late charges apply.
- Up to 1 hour late — no charge
- 1–3 hours late — half-day charge
- More than 3 hours late — one full day’s charge
Late charges also apply to any extras on the booking, such as excess reduction or child seats.
